The "spray" has never contained l-methamphetamine (at least to my many years and limited knowledge).

The famous Vicks Vapor Inhaler (a white to yellow waxy solid in a bullet shaped plastic nasal inhaler) is still available at my local chain drugstore along with their house brand knock-off and both still contains "levmetamfetamine" (a PC word for L-methamphetamine). In non-leading interviews for use, we MROs commonly work our way from cold/sinus/URI to inhalers, nasal to liquid spray versus solid as a defining history for possible need to insist on isomers.
