Another urban legend propogated on the Internet. (See also the recent cocaine-contaminated thread.) Those who test positive are prone to search the Internet for explanations and present their search findings to prove their innocence. As my Uncle, Jen'Ari, Ruler of the Sith Empire, says, just because it's posted on a web page doesn't mean it's true.
"Sugar alcohol" refers to a carbohydrate with an alcohol moiety (side chain) that is NOT ethanol and does NOT cause positive results on a evidential breath test device.
