Dr P always technically correct and if both positive, I agree. The real question slyly asked was, Why doesn't the "observed" also show amphetamine if the donor has a prescription for it showing in the "initial" specimen. Since "initial" becomes of little practical consequence with a positive "observed", I believe canceling "initial" avoids that can of worms, and implies you didn't believe it was their specimen (was a valid specimen) without having to be explicit. (The real answer in that got an Rx for initial only case being that they weren't taking their Rx and it was still a substituted "initial" albeit more wisely matched to their Rx) To quote a prior questioner, "whoo!"
