A while back, the DOT gave guidelines about this scenario (and I think an earlier thread was posted here somewhere). The bottom line, interview the donor and report out the results as follows: If one of the two specimens are positive, report out the positive. If both are positive, report out both of the positives. If the donor admits to the first specimen being substituted, report it out as substituted, and verify the second test (after MRO interview) as positive.
