In similar situations in the past I have typically asked for permission to discuss the issue with the prescribing physician and if the prescribing physician (or even some other personal physician for the donor)is willing to verify that the current use was medically appropriate I will accept their opinion and determine the result to be negative. Without some physician verifying that the current use by the donor was medically appropriate I have been reluctant to deem these as negative. Do others find this to be a reasonable approach to this issue?
