I am confused.  A DOT driver is rehired for non-DOT, driving position with a DOT pre-employment drug screen???

With a history of a DOT positive result, a DOT driver must complete SAP process (and the new employer is responsible for checking with last employer(s) regarding substance issues).  Verifying that status and following the regulations is an employer responsibility, not collector or MRO - but it is nice of the MRO to help advise the confused employer.
