It is a shame that LabOne does not have the expertise to do the Iodate testing as well, since a second lab under the same ownership can be considered a "B" lab (DOT Q&A's 2002). But they do not. The Iodate reporting is now done even if it is the only adulterant present. However, Dr. Swotinsky's approach of having NWT retest bottle B is the only available alternative. In fact, the lab has done this for the MRO's that have requested it be done. Until this issue is addressed by the DOT, this is your only option.
