There is no law against this -- as near as I can tell, it is not expressly forbidden by the regulations. It is forbidden to record medications on the Custody and Control Form, except the donor may record medications on the donor's copy if desired. If the collection site/personnel are affiliated with the MRO, I believe it could expedite the process if the donor offers the information, but I certainly do NOT believe it to a good idea to request it or for other collection sites to accept that information as it violates the principle of confidentiality implicit to the MRO process. Also note: A written prescription that has not yet been filled at the time of a drug test collection does not account for the presence of that drug in the specimen.
