This is a situation where, as presented, the MRO reported a positive finding and the donor was able to persuade the employer to reverse the result to negative. The case as presented suggests that the MRO made an error, and I can see how the donor might feel he can educate the MRO so that future errors do not occur.  However, there is also the possibility that we're missing part of the story here, and maybe the MRO reported it correctly.  If I were the donor, I might leave well enough alone rather than prod the MRO into notifying the employer that the test's outcome was truly positive.  While I'm all in favor of getting the correct interpretation, if I were the donor and looking out for my own best interests I'd leave well enough alone -- that's my pragmatic advice.
