You may discriminate on basis of sex (religion, national origin, handicap, race, age) if a bona fide requirement for the job - as appears to be the case here.  Other examples are: Female to be a Hooter's waitress (actually tried in the courts), Methodist to be a Methodist minister, female to be office staff serving as chaperone for medical exams if the physician is a male, young actress to play Little Orphan Annie in a play, etc.
