I received a draft of the revised drug testing proposal for our hospital. They are proposing a urine drug test panel that includes synthetic opiates for employees engaged in direct patient care and a regular ten panel for non-direct patient care employees. Is this an acceptable practice(medical and legal) or is this an invitation for a discrimination lawsuit?

How reliable is the technology for saliva test? Is DOT considering its use?
