Similar to my last post, I have never seen khat come up in a drug screen where I work where we get 4-5 million results/year. I presume that it is possible to test for this substance, but I am certain that most companies or drug testing labs do not routinely test for this substance. I am also sure that it is not tested in any standard 5-panel or any common 9-panel test. I would presume that the employer/company would have to make special arrangements with the lab to test for this substance.
