Offer the donor an opportunity to present alternative medical explanations for the positive cocaine result. Offer an opportunity to present the substituted result. If the donor has no acceptable explanations for these results, report them to the employer as both "positive for cocaine" and "substituted." They are both actionable outcomes; the employer decides what action to take.
