Thanks for that info! I spoke to the lab and they only test for cortisol if the collector states "suspect synthetic urine" or "pls test for cortisol in addition to regular tests to r/o substitution/adulteration". Of course this only on non DOT tests that they do this. Apparently collectors are seeing more and more of this synthetic urine and the lab stated that they hadn't seen spiking of the urine with cortisol....yet! Interestingly, I had another the same day that the collector again suspected synthetic urine and this time the PH, nitrite, and creatinine were also fine but the cortisol was >2.0 ng/ml? Anyway, I will be doing my interviews and see where things go from there.
