This owner-operator apparently came in for a "Walk-In" Random drug test - for which he tested positive. He said that he will be quitting the commercial driving business because of this and other reasons. The owner-operator did not list a TPA at first. However, once he tested positive, he stated that his wife is the TPA. When I spoke with her, she verified that she is the TPA and that she will follow the FMCSA regulations. In addition, the owner-operator and the TPA (the wife) both use the same phone and address for the result to be sent to. Is my MRO duties complete now that I have spoken with the TPA (even though it is his wife)? And should I have the result sent to the address that they have provided (which is the same for the owner-operator and the TPA)? Any other MRO duties? Thanks!
