The simple answer is that you can change a positive (fail) test to a negative test (pass) if the donor provides a medical explanation for his positive test results, namely a prescription of a verifiable treatment from a physician (and obviously it has to be BEFORE the test - not 3 weeks after the test). It sounds like this has yet to happen. If you have given the donor a reasonable amount of time to provide this to you (it sounds like you have), report it out as positive.
