the 2000 cutoff level was established by the DOT for requiring the lab to test for 5-MAM - because the 300 level was a waste of resources with many poppy seed positives and because 15,000 would miss "too" many - the 2000 level is a probably not poppy seed level while >15,000 is a most assuredly not poppy seed level for the MRO and legal defense - and for which an RX is required to explain .
