In answer to your question, our "Board of Directors" have contracted with this lab. They did not bother to ask the MROs within our group for input. This is an internal issue that I will address from within our group at our next quarterly meeting. I'm afraid we have become too large a group for our own good and the tail is wagging the dog so to speak.
Anyways, what I took most offense to was the tone taken towards MROs in general and their perception of what kind of training we get and our scope of practice. It appears we get no respect from this laboratory and apparently "our board" shares that sentiment. I'm frustrated, just wanting to know if this has become common and if we should expect more of this, including our workplace drug testing as labs begin to compete with us. It seems taking us out of the equation all together = WalMart of UDS.
