Have a 55 year old man with a hisory of alcohol dependence, hepatitis C, and cirrhosis, and who reports 15 yrs of abstinence, not in any recovery program.  He tested positive for alcohol with 5mg/dl ETOH in blood, and 6mg/dl ETOH in urine.  These samples were taken at the same time.  He denies drinking.  Are there any  explanations for these results other than drinking alcohol?
