An electric razor should NOT be used. A single-use razor should be used instead. Simple reason...for example, the donor tests positive to marijuana. They state, "I do not use marijuana, but I am sure that the person who had their hair shaved with the electric razor right before me did, and the cross contamination is the reason for my positive test." So, bottom line, I would not use any razor (electric or otherwise) where any "cross contamination" could be an issue. Use a single-use disposable razor instead.
