I, like you, am frequently in another part of the country as the donor. I personally ask the DER to arrange an appointment with a “neutral” and “unbiased” Board Certified Urologist for a shy bladder evaluation in a time appropriate manner. I then ask that the DER let us know the date and time of the appointment, and we forward all the appropriate forms for the physician to complete, and answer any questions that the physician may have, especially is he/she has never done a shy bladder evaluation.
