I agree with you. I'm hearing case after case where companies have taken action on a presumptive result from a quick test. They may or may not then send it to the lab. They just do not understand what the results mean--they don't understand the cross reactivity issues. We don't handle any quick tests in part because we have seen so much misuse of the information before it is confirmed. I think many don't even send them in for confirmation. By the way I could not get your link to work.
