Can naproxen cause a false positive THC test?

I have a 27 y.o. male testing positive for THC (26 ng/ml). He denies using marijuana or having had any such exposure. He takes several Aleve (naproxen) pills a day. Can naproxen, in high doses, cause a false positive test? I do understand it is not a legitimate explanation because then everybody testing positive for THC would be "taking naproxen". Thanks.
