The DOT clearly specifies in 40.195 what to do in case of a pre-employ, RTD, or F/U test if the donor has a long-term, or permanent medical condition. When a donor has a random and has a permanent/long-term problem, the donor remains in the random pool.

1. Even with a documented permanent condition, does the donor go to the collection site and sit for three hours when his/her random number is pulled?

2. Does the donor do the same regardless of the test type, i.e., return to duty, follow-up, etc.?
