NO - in this case, the result for the test prompting the request for shy bladder exam would become "Refusal to Test" if the donor has de facto demonstrated the absence of a shy bladder condition but "declined" to give a specimen in the alloted 3 hours. If there is any concern that the donor has a genuine condition (not just dehydration) that could sometimes cause a hit or miss inability to produce a specimen in the three hours alloted, the shy bladder evaluation should not be canceled. The specimen result would only be canceled if the evaluation confirms such a condition.
