A nurse consulted me today after having been fired from her job for a + marijuana result. Her PCP apparently is willing to give her an opinion that her Aciphex could have caused the positive result. I have not seen whether the test was confirmed by GC/MS... the nurse thinks it was confirmed, but never talked to an MRO. My question: is there any evidence that Aciphex can cause a false positive for marijuana, either on screening test or confirmation? Thank you.
