I refer to a case I posted in which a donor confused Marinol with mineral oil. I realize that case isn't exactly responsive to g woodall's question about MROs dealing w/sound-alike medications. My point is, both donors and doctors sometimes get confused about similar-sounding medicines. MROs commonly hear donors hopefully explain away their cocaine positive results as due to codeine prescriptions, perhaps figuring that codeine and cocaine must be close enough.
