In such cases, do the labs report the concentration of drugs found (if any) in the cold negative specimen? Presumably the specimen is "negative" because the donor diluted the specimen from a water source. The MRO would be on sounder footing if the MRO could be sure that some quantity of the drug found in the observed specimen was also present in the (presumably) diluted specimen?
