A cold negative has no drugs above cutoff to quantify and we only assume that it is probably not a valid specimen. (Not necessarily dilute, could also be totally substituted or just not up to temperature for other reasons.) So on a cold negative we desire to have an immediate observed recollect to firmly decide.
