I have a donor was was sent to an occupational medicine clinic for evaluation of a shy bladder. The physician stated there was no medical explanation and he was therefore reported as a refusal to test. On his own, the donor went to a urologist a week later that diagnosed donor with urinary retention and a bladder diverticulum. I think we will need to change the result to a cancelled test but at what point (how far out) can we accept evaluations/second opinions? The test should be changed not only because it appears the donor could have had a legitimate medical issue and also for legal reasons as well. For example, the occupational medicine doc performed no testing. (I realize the DOT rules states no testing is required.) The urologist did perform testing.
