2 questions:
1) When does it look like DOT Medical Examiner certification will occur?
2) I wonder how many Medical Examiners follow the 2006 sleep apnea screening guidelines for drivers to the letter and how many examiners have lost significant business once word gets out that you are doing this? It seems to me many Medical Examiners aren't following the guidelines when I ask them about this (for sleep apnea). It seems as though Medical Examiners and employers are waiting for the federal regulators to clarify this. I have also found employers are dodging Medical Examiners who follow the sleep apnea screening guidelines. This is a real problem. Comments?
