Typical work restrictions for patients include no driving, no climbing to heights, and no working with machinery or under conditions in which significant injury to self or others is predictable if a seizure occurred. If the person's seizure history is remote and/or secondary to a precipitating event such as infection or tumor (that has since been resolved), there may be no need for restriction at all.
