Received a DOT drug test result positive for amphetamine without a valid prescription. Donor was picked through a consortium for a random. After speaking with company found out donor currently does just general labor but is expected to drive a dump truck within 6 month. Has medical card but no CDL or CLP. I don't feel he should have been tested as a DOT random. How should I proceed in advising the company?
Review it like a DOT test. You could reach out to the employer re: DOT v. non DOT, but it sounds like they've already decided they want this to be a DOT test, and it's their decision.
